I have a new favorite spot in the backyard. Right under the huge ash tree that provides TONS of shade. I can see everything from here. I'm wondering if we could build a treehouse... Hmmmmm...

It's officially baseball season.
We went to a cubs game in Vegas. I felt kind of guilty being there without the boys, but our main reason for being in Vegas was for the Blake Shelton concert. The game was a bonus. Dad knew the team manager and got tickets. Dad always knows someone. That is how we got the concert tickets, the room at Mandalay Bay, etc... How lucky are we to know dad!
All girl trip except dad. He can't miss out! It's the best thing in the world to feel like a kid again with your sisters. We must have taken at least 300 pictures, and that's not exaggerating! I laughed harder in two days than I had in months. I will never forget that trip. I figured out how to use the camera on the iPad and took a million videos. We treated the trip as if we were on a reality show. We're so dumb!
Lindsie and I unknowingly ate all the snacks in the hotel room. Unbeknownst to us, they cost at least $15 dollars a piece. We only ate 7 different bags. Dad never told us, we had to find out in a roundabout way. I think we took the kid thing a little too far...
I am at Kade's baseball game. A 2-3 time a week event these days. I LOVE it. I don't know if it's my childhood or what, but It just makes me happy to watch my kids play baseball. Luckily Kade shares my passion. It is his favorite. He pitches and plays shortstop. Two of the most coveted positions. He knows he is lucky so he does his best.
Here is our view. Kade is at shortstop. We are up by two. Awesome for us because we have lost our first three games. We need the confidence like mad!

We had our first annual egg hunt on Saturday.
Easter morn was the usual egg hunt of our own. Bridger was the winner of the $20 egg. Meg got the $10 egg. Bridge was way excited. Meg was disappointed that she didn't get the $20. Typical. We had our usual Easter dinner at mom's with pork and rice. Aunt Carla and Wendy were there. It was funny how all the women ended up at the round table in deep discussion. We talked and talked about our different ailments and cures. What we should and shouldn't take for depression sleep etc...then Brandon joined us and we talked some more. As well as watched YouTube clips of the old movie Airplane. I really wish I had taken pics. I did do some video though.
On Saturday we had our first swim for the year. Dad heated the pool to bath temp and they swam for about 6 hours straight!
Dallan planned his whole birthday party.
1. Meet at his house.
2. Go to Fiesta Fun.
3. Come back to His house.
4. Do piñata.
5. Open presents.
6. Eat cake.
We did all of the above minus the piñata. Instead we ate pizza. I wanted to make a piñata but never got the time. Fun easy party.
And then LuLu got a hold of the whoopie cushion.
Almost Easter... We will have our first Easter egg hunt in this house tomorrow. I'm kind of excited! This house has a great back yard for an egg hunt. Dallan has been so fun. We made his invitations for his birthday party today. They turned out so good. I will take a pic. He planned his whole party. He's like his brother Kade. Knows how to do it right. We will be going to anti-gravity and then back to the house for pinatas and cake. We will be making a crown for the piñata person, too. Can't believe he' ll be seven!
So it's 9:25 and the only kid home is Dallan. Brin is with her Santa Clara Friends. Meg is at Kelsies. Kade is in the old neighborhood prob playing night games. Bridge is with Tyce. Adam just asked if maybe we should be going to get someone. Umm yea I guess we should be getting them home. Big day tomorrow:
1. Get house ready for the Easter Egg Hunt.
2. Take the girls shopping for Easter Dresses.
3. Go see Paige's Baby that will hopefully become her own!
4. Buy Kade a couple of white dress shirts because he is a deacon now.
5. Finish passing out Dallans party invites.
6. Maybe find an Easter dress of my own..
